Statue of Unity
The Statue of Unity is the world's tallest statue, standing at 182 meters (597 feet). It is located near Kevadia in the state of Gujarat, dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a key figure in India’s independence movement and the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India. Inaugurated on October 31, 2018, the statue is surrounded by a beautiful landscape and includes a museum and an exhibition hall that showcase Patel’s life and contributions. It has become a major tourist attraction.
Ahmedabad
As previously mentioned, Ahmedabad is Gujarat's largest city and an important cultural and economic center. It boasts a blend of modern and traditional architecture, including the Sabarmati Ashram, which played a crucial role in the Indian independence movement. The city is also known for its vibrant food scene and festivals.
Jamnagar
Jamnagar is notable for its industrial significance, particularly in oil refining. It features beautiful attractions like Lakhota Lake and the Lakhota Palace. The city is also famous for its traditional crafts, including the production of jewelry and textiles.
Dwarka
Dwarka is a significant pilgrimage destination, believed to be the mythical city of Lord Krishna. The Dwarkadhish Temple, a key religious site, draws many visitors. The coastal city offers serene beaches and beautiful views of the Arabian Sea.
Porbandar
Porbandar is historically important as the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. The Kirti Mandir, dedicated to him, is a must-visit site. The city is also known for its scenic coastline and the nearby Sudama Temple, adding to its cultural richness.
Somnath
Somnath is home to the revered Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The temple's architecture and historical significance attract countless pilgrims. The location offers picturesque views of the Arabian Sea, enhancing the spiritual experience.
Each of these places contributes to Gujarat's rich history, culture, and spirituality, making them important destinations for tourists and pilgrims alike!
Day 01: Ahmedabad - Statue of Unity - Ahmedabad
Our representative will pick up at morning and proceed to visit the Statue of Unity, later back to the Ahmedabad Hotel and overnight stay
Day 02: Ahmedabad
After breakfast proceed to visit Adalaj Step Well – A seven-storied structure in the shape of a well, Akshardham, Sabarmati Ashram, Kankaria Lake, Sardar Vallbhbhai Patel Museum. Overnight stay in Hotel at Ahmedabad.
Day 03: Ahmedabad - Jamnagar
After breakfast, Check out from the Hotel & proceed to Jamnagar, visit Lakhota Lake & Lakhota Museum. Also, visit Bala Hanuman Temple known for its nonstop Ramdhun since 1956 and it is mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records. and overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 04: Jamnagar - Dwarka
After breakfast, check out & proceed to Dwarka to visit the famous destination Dwarkadhish Temple, Bet Dwarka – Nageshwar Jyotirlingas – Gopi Talav – Rukhmani Temple. Overnight stay in Hotel at Dwarka.
Day 05: Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath
After breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to Somnath. En-route visits of Porbandar – Kirti Mandir, Sudama Temple. Later continued to drive to Somnath, Visit Somnath Temple, and Bhalka Tirth. Overnight Stay in Hotel at Somnath.
Day 06: Somnath - Virpur - Gondal - Ahmedabad
Today, after breakfast proceed to Ahmedabad. Enroute visit Jalaram Temople at Virpur. Also visit Swaminarayan temple, Navlakha Palace, and the Vintage Car Museum at Gondal. Continued towards Ahmedabad and drop.
