Day 1: Arrival at the Jaipur Airport

Upon your arrival at Jaipur airport, our associate will greet you and escort you to your hotel. You can then complete the check-in process and after some rest head out for your city tour.

Your first destination in the city will be the famous City Palace. The architectural styles of the palace are a fusion of Rajput, Mughal and European styles. The ‘Chandra Mahal’ that houses within the complex has been turned into a museum, which is home to unique handcrafted products, various uniforms of the rulers and many more things pertaining to the royal heritage of the City Palace.

Right outside the palace is a big local market that has a plethora of shop. You can take a tour of the bazaar and see if something interests you. After that, you can return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Jaipur

Begin your day with a lovely breakfast at the hotel and then re-start your tour.

You will kick start with the Amber Fort. The fort is perched on a hill, so if you are a fan of hiking, then you are in for a treat. For the others, you can either take an elephant or jeep ride. The highlight of the fort is the Sheesh Mahal, decorated with numerous pieces of mirror tiles. In fact, this hall was designed in such a way, even a single ray entering into it can illuminate the entire hall.

Your next destination will be Jaigarh Fort. Some of the best places to visit here are the Ram Harihar Temple and Kal Bhairav Temple. The fort also houses a museum that showcases the arms and ammunition of that era.

The last destination on your list is the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Jantar Mantar consists of fourteen geometric devices that measure time and predict eclipses. The Jaipur observatory is one of the largest observatories in India, out of 5. Followed by this power-packed day, you can return to your hotel for the night stay.

Day 3: Jaipur to Udaipur

Today you will be travelling to Udaipur; the distance you need to cover is 394.9 kms. So have an early breakfast and hit the road for roughly a 6 hours 36 minutes’ drive.

Once you have reached your hotel and have settled-in, you can move out to explore the city.

Your first destination for the day is the Kumbhalgarh Fort. The fort is known as the crowning glory of Rajasthan and is said to be unconquerable. Its high walls were its best defence and none of the enemies could beat that. In fact, its wall is second longest only to the ‘Great Wall of China’.

You can then take a walk around the city and enjoy the vibe of the narrow lanes in the old city of Udaipur.

Later on, you can return to your hotel for a good night’s sleep.

Day 4: Udaipur

Follow your breakfast routine and then start with your city tour.

The first destination for today is the Sahelion Ki Bari garden. The beautiful garden has abundant natural beauty, fountains, and also a museum. One out of the many stories of this garden says that the garden was designed by the king himself as a present to his queen. Go there for its scenic beauty and lush green trees.

Next up on your list is Bangore Ki Haveli. Bangore Ki Haveli is a beautiful palace in Udaipur on the waterfront of Lake Pichola. It consists of more than a hundred rooms along with the displays of costumes and modern art. It is said to be an amusing spot for the tourists.

Lastly, you will be spending some time at the Ambrai Ghats. After dusk, various groups come to the Ghats and melodize the environment of the Ghats with their musical instruments. You can sit near the lake and enjoy the wind along with music and the charming view. You can then head back to your hotel for the night stay.

Day 5: Udaipur to Jodhpur

You will be travelling to Jodhpur today and the distance you need to cover is 250.6 kms. So have an early breakfast and hit the road for your 4 hours travel, roughly.

After your check-in process at the hotel, you will visit the Mehrangarh Fort. The mighty fort, since its erection has never been under seizure. The invincible fortifications still bear cannon marks they had once withstood. Today, these walls and gates of the fort talk of their rich past.

Your next destination for the day is the Sardar Government Museum. The museum provides a glimpse into the royal legacy and tradition of Jodhpur. It ranks on the must-visit list of sightseeing in Jodhpur and exhibits a collection of weaponry, terracotta works, thousands of miniature paintings, ancient inscriptions and hundreds of iconic sculptures.

Post this tiring yet fun day, you can head back to your hotel to catch up on some rest.

Day 6: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

Today you will travel to the last city of your holiday, Jaisalmer. The distance you need to cover is 284.1 kms and it should take you around 4 hours to reach your destination.

After you reach your hotel, complete your check-in process and then move to the Thar Desert for sports activities planned for the day.

The Thar Desert offers a plethora of sports activities to pick from, ranging from Quad Biking, Dune Bashing, Para Gliding and Camel Safari. You can make your pick and spend your day in the desert. Later on, you can head back to your hotel for some rest and dinner.

Day 7: Jaisalmer

After a filling breakfast, you will head out to explore the city further. Your first destination of the day will be the Jaisalmer Fort.

The fort is also known as the Sonar Quila by the locals. Fun fact about the fort is that a detective novel has been written based on the Jaisalmer Fort, which was later converted into a movie called Sonar Kella. Now, that’s how famous the fort is.

Apart from the fort, Jaisalmer also houses the Salim Singh Ki Haveli. The haveli lies within the vicinity of Jaisalmer Fort. The highlight of the fort is its unique architectural identity; the Haveli’s roof is based on the peacock’s physical form. In the background, you can see high hills overlooking the mansion that enhances its charm.

Your last destination in the city is the Indo-Pak Border. Since ancient times, this zone was used by travellers to visit and export items to other countries. Now this zone has the Border Pillar No. 609. At BP 609, one can see the check post, the fencing of wires on the Indian side and watchtower of BSF. Only Indians are allowed to go up to BP 609, and that too after proper permission from the BSF authorities.
