1. Srinagar

Arrival in Srinagar: The tour often begins in Srinagar, the largest city and the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. You’ll likely arrive at Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport or by road.

Dal Lake: A quintessential experience is a shikara ride on Dal Lake. The houseboats on the lake provide a unique stay, and the lake itself is surrounded by picturesque views of the mountains and the Mughal gardens.

Mughal Gardens: Visit the famous Mughal gardens, such as Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. These gardens showcase Mughal landscaping and architecture, with terraced lawns, cascading fountains, and vibrant flowerbeds.

Old City: Explore the old city of Srinagar with its narrow lanes, traditional markets, and historic sites. Don’t miss the Jamia Masjid, an impressive mosque with wooden architecture.

2. Pahalgam

Journey to Pahalgam: A scenic drive from Srinagar takes you to Pahalgam, often called the "Valley of Shepherds."

Betaab Valley: Explore this beautiful valley, named after a Bollywood film. It’s known for its lush green meadows and snow-capped peaks.

Aru Valley: A picturesque drive from Pahalgam leads to Aru Valley, offering stunning views and opportunities for light trekking or simply enjoying the natural beauty.

Baisaran: Known as the "Mini Switzerland of India," Baisaran is a meadow surrounded by dense pine forests and snow-capped mountains, ideal for picnics and leisure.

 

3. Gulmarg

Journey to Gulmarg: A drive from Srinagar takes you to Gulmarg, a renowned hill station and skiing destination.

Gondola Ride: Experience the world’s highest golf course and one of the highest cable car rides in the world, which provides breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayas.

Golfing: If visiting during the summer, you can play a round of golf on the beautiful, verdant course.

Winter Sports: In winter, Gulmarg transforms into a skiing paradise, with opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, and other snow activities.

 

4. Sonamarg

Journey to Sonamarg: A drive from Srinagar will bring you to Sonamarg, known as the "Meadow of Gold."

Thajiwas Glacier: Trek or take a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier, where you can experience the snowy landscape up close.

Fishing: Sonamarg is also known for its trout fishing in the clear waters of the Sindh River.

5. Kokernag

Journey to Kokernag: A drive from Srinagar takes you to Kokernag, a tranquil town known for its lush gardens and natural springs.

Kokernag Gardens: Explore the beautiful Kokernag Gardens, renowned for their well-maintained layout, colorful flowers, and peaceful atmosphere. The gardens are situated around the Kokernag spring, which is believed to have medicinal properties.

Natural Springs: Visit the Kokernag springs, where crystal-clear water emerges from the earth, surrounded by greenery. It’s a serene spot ideal for relaxation and enjoying nature.

Hiking and Picnicking: Enjoy light hiking trails around Kokernag and have a picnic amidst the picturesque landscape. The area is less crowded, offering a peaceful retreat.

DAY 1:- Jammu

You will be met by our representative at the Jammu, proceed to hotel and overnight stay.

 

DAY 2:- Jammu-Srinagar

After breakfast you will be transferred from Jammu to Srinagar. Srinagar, popularly known as ‘Paradise on Earth’ and 'Venice of the East’, is situated in the beautiful valley of Kashmir. Located on the banks of the River Jhelum, the city is renowned for its beautiful lakes, houseboats and numerous Mughal gardens. The word Srinagar is a combination of two Sanskrit words, ‘Sri’ meaning wealth and ‘Nagar’ meaning place. Therefore, the literal meaning of the term 'Srinagar' is 'the city of wealth. Late enjoy the shikararide in the world famous dal lake.

 

DAY 3:-Srinagar –Sonmarg
After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Sonmarg which is situated at a height of 2740 meters, and is at a distance of 82 km which takes about 3 hrs to cover (one way). Relish a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. You can enjoy sightseeing to Thajiwas Glacier or other sightseeing points. Later, return to Srinagar after your excursion. In the evening, enjoy a comfortable overnight night stay at the hotel. Please note that at Thajiwas Glacier. Overnight stay at hotel in Sonmarg.

 

DAY 4:- Sonmarg-Manesbal Lake

After breakfast you will be transferred from sonmarg to Manesbal lake.Manasbal Lake is located in Gander bal District in the State of Jammu and Kashmir in India. The name Manesbal is said to be a derivative of the Lake Manasarovar.[2] Lake is encircled by three villages viz., Jarokbal, Kondabal (also called Kiln place, is situated on the north-eastern side of the lake) and Gander bal and is stated to be the deepest lake (at 13 m or 43 ft depth) in India.[citation needed] The large growth of lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) at the periphery of the lake (blooms during July and August) adds to the beauty of the clear waters of the lake. The Mughal garden, called the Jaroka, (meaning bay window) built by Nur Jahan overlooks the lake. Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.

 

DAY 5:- Srinagar - Gulmarg

After breakfast you will be transferred from Srinagar to Gulmarg. Gulmarg for Day sight Seeing, Local sightseeing of Gulmarg, enjoy pony ride or Gondola ride at your own cost. Gulmarg's one of the best ski slopes in the world and one of the highest golf courses in the world with 18 holes. View of Nanga Parbat if weather permits. Fascinating view from Tangmarg to Gulmarg. A short trek up to Khilanmarg, which can be covered in about 3 hrs. Is optional. Later in the evening return to Srinagar. Overnight at the Hotel.

 

DAY 6:- Srinagar - Pahalgam

This Morning departure for Pahalgam. Also visit Avantipura Ruins, Mattan Temple enroute. In Pahalgam you will have a rare opportunity to visit the Saffron fields, Relax yourself at the bank of River Lidder, Back to Srinagar hotel. overnight stay

 

DAY 7:- Pahalgam

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Chandanwadi (3288 meters), Betaab Valley and Aru Valley. Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. After your tour, enjoy the evening at leisure. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel. Proceed for a visit to the beautiful Chandanwadi (3288 meters), Betaab Valley and Aru Valley will be on direct payment basis. You may also visit the local Pahalgam market if the time permits. Please note that at Aru, Chandanwari and Betab Valley outside vehicles as per union are not allowed, for covering this you will have to hire cabs from Local taxi union on direct payment basis.Over night stay at hotel in Pahalgam.

 

DAY 8:- Pahalgam – Aherbal - Srinagar

 After breakfast you will be transferred from Srinagar to Aherbal.Aherbal is a base for adventure tourism. The Veshu River is stocked with trout. The fishing permit can be obtained from the Fisheries department stationed at Aharbal. The alpine meadow of Kungwatan lies at the halfway point of the two-day trek to the high-altitude Konsernag Lake, which is the source of the Veshu. Other activities include horse riding, photography, and skiing during winter. The Aharbal Development Authority, a government agency responsible for development in Aharbal, has built tourist infrastructure including huts and a cafeteria, and other lodging and boarding facilities have also been made available. Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.

 

DAY 9:- Srinagar – Cookernag - Srinagar

After breakfast you will be transferred from Srinagar to Cookernag & Verinag spring which is in Verinag town, issues from a high scarp of a mountain spur, and is considered the source of the Jhelum River. It is situated at the bottom of a hill covered by pine trees and evergreen plants. Verinag spring was originally an irregular and shapeless pond, and water, oozing out from different places in it and spread about and formed a little marsh. Emperor Jahangir, whose artistic taste for polishing the beauty of nature is well known, saw this and at once determined to improve it. He built the octagonal tank of sculptured stones round it, so that all water was collected therein, for which carvers were brought from Iran. A garden was also built by Jahangir next to this natural spring which is of pre-Islamic religious significance. The construction date of the octagonal tank and the garden is 1029 Hijri or 1620 A.D, during the 15th year of the Jahangir's reign, which is duly inscribed on a stone slab built into the southern wall of the spring. Seven years later, Jahangir's son Shah Jahan, who was no less a lover of natural beauty, constructed cascades and aqueducts in straight lines through and around the fine garden which he, in order to enhance further the beauty of the place laid out in front of the spring. Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.

 

DAY 10:- Srinagar 

After breakfast you will be transferred from Srinagar local sightseeing. where you visit the floating vegetable gardens. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc, at afternoon Visit famous Mughal gardens (Nishat, Shalimar and Cheshma Shahi) and famous Shankracharya temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.

 

DAY 11:- DEPARTURE
Transfer by car to Srinagar airport with sweet memories of Kashmir.
